What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email, display name, and (optionally) an avatar URL. As you use Choice Map, we store the decisions, check-in reviews, journal entries, values, photos, and AI-generated insights that you create.
How we use it
We use your data to power the app: showing your decisions, scheduling check-ins, generating AI insights and Decision DNA, and surfacing patterns over time. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train third-party models outside of the AI providers we call on your behalf to generate insights.
Storage and security
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level security so that only you can read or write your records. Photos are kept in a private storage bucket and served via signed URLs.
Subprocessors
We rely on a small set of providers to operate Choice Map: cloud database and storage hosting, payment processing for Pro subscriptions, and AI model providers used to generate insights you explicitly request.
Deleting your data or account
You can wipe all of your decisions, reviews, journal entries, values, photos, and AI outputs at any time from Settings. You can also permanently delete your account from the same page — this removes your authentication record and all associated data and cannot be undone.
